Environmental requirements for cage laying hens
Oct 23, 2018

In spring and autumn it is possible to maintain the appropriate temperature, but in winter when laying eggs need to be closed doors and windows to control the appropriate ventilation. During the laying season in summer, the temperature of the henhouse should be controlled below 30 degrees Celsius, and a lot of ventilation, tree planting to block the sunshine and roof whitening should be taken to reduce the temperature. The humidity of laying hens is generally controlled at around 60%. For example, in winter and spring, because of less rain and relatively low humidity, spraying device can be sprayed regularly to improve humidity, and disinfectant can also be sterilized in the sprayer. But in summer and autumn, the humidity is obviously higher, and a lot of ventilation can be added to reduce humidity.

A few days before laying eggs, the sun shines 12 hours a day. When the egg laying rate reaches 5%, the light will increase by half an hour a week until the peak of laying eggs, and eventually it will be set at 16 hours. When the egg-laying rate falls to 70% after the peak, light needs to rise to 16 hours and 30 minutes a day. When the egg laying rate drops to 50%, the daily light needs to be increased to 17 hours, 3 watts per cubic meter, according to this standard until the chickens are eliminated.

Automatic Egg Chicken Layer Cage ensure the layer chickens have a healthy living environment.
